Hope You PC Folks weren’t too interested in Monster Hunter World…

Monster Hunter World is coming out for the XBOX ONE and Playstation 4 on January 26th 2018.  But if you want the PC version you are going to have to wait quite a bit longer…

“Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto broke the bad news in a small video update today.

“As for the PC version, we’re working hard on it right now, and aiming for an autumn 2018 release,” Tsujimoto said. “We’ll update you with more details later and thank you for your patience.”

So that means that Capcom is releasing the PC version sometime between 8-10 months after the console version.  I really hope Capcom doesn’t complain about the numbers it pulls.  Because ANYONE with a console will have bought it by then.  It will probably be discounted below $50 on console when it comes out on PC.  So in taking this amount of time to port it over, even if the port is good.  Which we have no way of knowing.  It will severely affect it’s popularity on PC and could possibly just kill it.  But that is all speculation; of course…  But if this game comes out on PC in Fall at $60 when the console folks are paying $50 or less.  I’m not entirely sure that there is any point in bothering…
